How Many Can You Tick? Fibromyalgia Symptoms Checklist
Due to the very nature of fibromyalgia it’s often hard to diagnose so I’ve comprised a list of the symptoms, a checklist if you’ll, so that hopefully you can have a better understanding of fibromyalgia and be able to describe and explain in more detail to your doctor the worries you may be having with this illness.
There are many symptoms for fibromyalgia but the primary signs that make up this checklist are lack of energy, sleep pattern disturbances and pain/aching of the muscles.
Many people with fibromyalgia feel completely drained and exhausted and report intense pain targeting random points of the body such as shoulders, elbows and knees. This pain can be described as “tenderness” and is a critical part of this checklist and being able to make an informed diagnosis of fibromyalgia.
Due to the disturbance of sleep pattern the sufferer can become tired and the body can become fatigued which can lead to them not being able to complete daily tasks whether at home or work.
When all this is happening it can result in feeling low and anxious and can also lead to a poor appetite, other symptoms to add to the checklist associated with fibromyalgia are irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and bladder problems.
Some also report memory loss and confusion which is often referred to as fibromyalgia fog, this can be one of the more worrying symptoms on the checklist for the sufferer as you can imagine.
Yet another fascinating thing relevant to this issue. Chronic headaches or migraines are also one of the more common symptoms on the checklist as in many fibromyalgia sufferers they’ve muscle and joint pain in the face, jaw and shoulders which can cause the blood vessels in the head and neck to constrict and dilate which can cause severe headaches or migraines.
So to summarise what has been said in to a checklist of fibromyalgia symptoms here is a bullet list…

The thing with fibromyalgia is that it can over lap with many other illness’ so even though this may be a comprehensive checklist of symptoms for fibromyalgia it’s always best to consult your doctor to get an official diagnosis so as to get the recommended treatment for the symptoms that may or may not be on this checklist.
I hope this checklist of symptoms for fibromyalgia is what you was looking for and that it has been of some help to you when it comes to better understanding this illness.

Any ladies around that also have fibromyalgia?? Lets compare symptoms, and pain, and what sleep is are was?? Here are a few of my symptoms: Tired, pain in neck, back & hips, sciatica, muscles strung so tight they’re screaming….Also have herniated discs & hypothyroidism Treatments: synthroid, cytomel, ultram, flexeril, lyrica, wellbutrin, elavil, decongestants, TENS, moist heat and ice packs. Hip gets so bad that I receive steroid injections 2-3 times a year. Because I’m on such a heavy med solution, I sleep about six hours before waking, but never reach REM sleep so remain tired. I don’t dream, haven't dreamed much since traumatic childhood. I work full-time and have special equipment to allow me more support while sitting and typing. I wear a heated buckwheat pillow around my neck while working. How about you? What are your treatments and medicines?

Fibromyalgia Symptoms. Fibromyalgia is a general sensation of pain all over the body. Fibromyalgia symptoms can occur as physical manifestations, mood swings and psychological
I’ve a family member who suffers from that. She has sore muscles all around her body, but especially on her back. She cant walk around a shopping centre for really long periods of time because she gets tired and sore. She sometimes gets chest pains that are in the same position as the pain on her back (except at the front of her body, if you get that)
